Journey at a glance
Day 1 — Damietta to Alexandria: Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, Pompey’s Pillar, Qaitbay Citadel, Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Montaza area, lunch and overnight in Alexandria. Day 2 — Alexandria to El Alamein and Siwa. Day 3 — Siwa: Oracle Temple, Salt Lakes, Cleopatra’s Spring, Siwan lunch, 4x4 Great Sand Sea safari, Bir Waheed, sunset and desert camp. Day 4 — Shali Fortress, Mountain of the Dead, Marsa Matrouh and return to Damietta.
